Deception
Pump started leaking in November 2025. Multiple calls and emails, the company claimed it wasn't covered under warranty.
The day after the 3-year warranty expired, I got a call from the Jandy rep, Ray Sellers, who did a sales pitch for a new pump. Really?
I'll get a new pump, but not a Jandy. You guys are deceitful.

I was in hold for about 15 minutes or less when a recorded voice said longest hold time 6 mins. This repeated several times.
Then at about 25 minutes into call it changed to 21 minutes. Then every time it repeated after that it went up. At 35 minutes on hold the message stated longest hold 25 minutes. I gave up.
They mention their website in hold dialog but no FAQs or troubleshooting help on site.
You have to search their product manuals. All and all an awful experience.

I own a salt cell that had suddenly started leaking for no reason. It is only a year old.
I tried to get customer support to help but you wanted me to pay for your service!! That is absurd and dishonest. Why should I pay to fix your *** products.
This is ridiculous and bad business practice. I will be directing my money to your competitor!!

Pool is only 3 years old, and the pump has been replaced three times. Now it's died again, and they won't stand behind it as it's out of warranty.
So, you sell an obviously defective product and don't stand behind it — just waiting for it to die so the customer can purchase something else.
The company said they don't have any representatives to assist — go to one of the local companies as they have a dedicated representative. Of course, the local company just wanted to sell me a new one!

Constantly blowing ignition on pool heater
Jandy Pro Pool heater is less than three years old and the igniter has gone out four times. They come and replace it and its lasts a few months.
And to them, the answer is since covid everything is made poorly.
A new one wont be any better. Is this a product or company you would want to support?

SupporterResolved: Have three LED lights. All went bad. 5 months out of warranty and they say sorry but your screwed. Terrible company! Use anyone but them!
Salt cell went out! Just paid $1,900 to have it fixed.
5 months out of warranty I have now replaced 3 lights, a motor, and now a salt cell all within three years. All Jandy equipment!May want to stay away from this company!
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Jandy sent replacements to service company.
Service company here today. Cost $750.00 for labor to have three lights replaced. Turns out that one of the lights had a cracked housing that water seeped into.
Defective from factory. The second and third one just defective.
If you buy a Jandy product, do so at your own risk! It will cost you at least 3k in a couple of years, replacing their inferior product.

The drive board blew literally two months after the warranty expired. Three years and two months in, and I need to buy an expensive drive board or a new pump.
Customer service took forever to get back to me and was completely uncaring once they realized it was past the warranty. They do not care!

I have gotten nowhere with Jandy. It was a waste of my time and the young girl who picked up the phone and “helped” me had an attitude and had NO want to assist in making me a happy customer.
I’ve spent over $1,000 constantly replacing the same part mind you I’m on the 5th salt cell in less than 5 yrs and three were replaced while under warranty by my pool company. I just replaced this part 2.5 months ago and now again!!!
I called customer service and the teenage girl who picked up the phone had an attitude and refused to help. She stated, we have replaced it three times already while under warranty thats a favor!? THATS A BAD PRODUCT! And they keep selling it!!!
Thats sad that you know theres an issue w your product and you keep selling them. Im seeing complaints all over the internet.
NEVER AGAIN!!! The complaints seem to have started back on 2020 and yet Jandy still sells the part knowing that it will only be a temporary fix.

Jandy, Zodiac and Aqualink all have same disconnected support number
If anyone does not believe this review go to Aqualink, Zodiac or Jandy's website. They all list the same 800-822-**** support number.
Call it and you will see it is disconnected. I believe the address in CA is the same for all three companies so they are probably owned by the same entity.
In my opinion their websites lead you to believe they offer good support and a number to call as a marketing and sales trick to help sell their product giving the appearance the really want to support and help customers through good support and service. In my opinion listing a fake number to help provide this illusion is fraud.
It is disconnected, yet they still keep the number up on their website. I just bought a house with Aqualink controllers. So far, watching youtube videos, reading online forums and wasting tons of my time (which saves Aqualink Company lots of time and money), I have gotten no where. Tired of dealing with American Companies who make it almost impossible to get help after the sale unless you pay a contractor who may or may not know what they are doing and spend most of their time trying to get you to sign a service contract.
On top of that they make you download an APP and sign their terms and conditions while taking your name, e-mail, address and phone numbers which I bet they sell to marketers to make money off of me without providing any service. The app has proven useless so far as I CANNOT GET SUPPORT TO SIMPLY CONNECT IT!!

Purchased the Jandy Pro Series by Zodiac Pool and Spa Heater and have had it serviced 3 times. Appears to be electrical.
Why?
I called the support number 180*-***-**** and no one answers.
Why?
I invested alot of money and it still doesn't work! The installation company, Funinthe sun solar .com said it has multiple issues.
